Auckland Council undertook upgrade works to the Park including Car Park and Playground Renewal, Drainage upgrades and renewing the footpathing Network.

Mason Contractors Works included;

• Earthworks - stripping and spreading material

• Drainage - pipework, manholes, cesspits

• Wastewater and water main connections

• Concrete works - car park, footpaths, ramps and stairs

• Red Clay brick wall construction

• Kerbs and channels

• Retaining Wall

• Erosion Control

• Landscaping including, mounding, mulching, planting

• Installation of bollards, street furniture, cycle racks, drinking fountains
